I love all of the San Marzano sauces, but my absolute favorite is the Vodka Sauce. It's always fresh and delicious.
The texture of this sauce is ta highlight. for my family. Unlike some thinner, watery sauces, the San Marzano base has a a desirable, thick consistency that coats pasta beautifully, making it perfect for rigatoni, penne, or fettuccine. The inclusion of heavy cream, along with imported cheeses like Pecorino Romano, provides the classic, aesthetically pleasing pink hue and a velvety smoothness. The overall richness is well-balanced by the subtle spice, often from crushed red pepper, and the aromatic depth provided by fresh ingredients like sautéed onions and garlic.
It's a must have for my pantry at all times!
